The Milwaukee Jazz Orchestra, led by Curt Hanrahan, Director of Jazz Studies at the Univ of Wisconsin at Milwaukee, is an A-list roster of Milwaukee musicians. A superb program of three original compositions, an Ellington/Tizol classic, a standard arranged by Don Schamber, tune from theWoody Herman book and a rare Charlie Parker/Gil Evans collaboration.
